Mitch L. Elkiss, D.O., F.A.C.N., F.A.A.M.A., C.S.P.O.M.M.
Dr. Elkiss received his medical degree from Michigan State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. He spent a year in a Biomechanics Fellowship at Michigan State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Neurology at Botsford General Hospital. He studied medical acupuncture through the Helms Medical Institute. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Neuropsychiatry, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, American Headache Society, and American College of Neurology. He holds a certificate of special proficiency in osteopathic manipulative medicine from the American Academy of Osteopathy. He is a member of Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Osteopathic Association, Oakland County Medical Society, etc. He is a founding member of Associates In Neurology, P.C. located in Farmington Hills, MI.

Bruce M. Silverman, DO, FACN
Dr. Bruce Silverman is one of the co-founders of Associates In Neurology. Dr. Silverman focuses on medical neurology, electrodiagnostics, EMG, EEG, Evoked Potentials, Carotid Ultrasonography and Botulinum therapy. Dr. Silverman received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. He completed his internship and training in internal medicine as well as his residency in neurology at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills. Dr. Silverman is a past chairman of the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and American College of Neuropsychiatry, Clinical Assistant Professor Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He holds staff privileges at Providence, Botsford, Beaumont and Huron Valley hospital. Dr. Silverman is the current Director of the Neurosciences Service Line and Director of the Stroke Initiative at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers.
 
Mark A. Kachadurian, D.O.
Dr. Mark Kachadurian joined Associates in Neurology in 1994. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and neurology training at Indiana University. Dr. Kachadurian received fellowship training in EMG and Neuromuscular Diseases, is board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a specialist in the field. In addition, he has gone on to become a leading specialist in Botox and its use in the treatment of a wide variety of neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders as well as other therapies such as headache and migraine.
 
Mark B. Silverman, D.O.
Dr. Mark Silverman also joined Associates in Neurology in 1994. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Michigan State University and his neurology training at Botsford General Hospital. He has served as a Board Examiner for the National Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychology. Dr. Silverman has several teaching appointments, including Assistant Clinical Professorship at Michigan State University. He has received Detroit’s Top Docs distinction, as well and has quickly become well respected in the field Dr. Silverman is often invited to lecture at universities and hospitals for medical students, nurses and residents, as well as television and other media outlets.
 
Norman M. Burns, M.D.
Dr. Norman Burns received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, medical degree from Ross University and neurology training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Burns underwent additional fellowship training in Neurodiagnostic Medicine, including EEG/Epilepsy, EMG/Neuromuscular Disease and Sleep Medicine.
